Kate and Laura Barlow, two young psychic sisters, finish their European tour in late 1930s Paris. Fascinated by their gift, a famous film producer by the name of André Korben, hires them to take part in a madly ambitious film. Caught up in the whirlwind of cinema, experimentation and emotion, this new family, with its increasingly troubled relationships, fails to see the events that are about to overtake Europe…

Rebecca Zlotowski studied screenwriting at the French national film school La Fémis. With Cyprien Vial, one of her fellow students there, she made the short Dans le Rang which won an award at Cannes in 2006. She directed her first full-length film, Belle Epine, in 2010, and earned a screenwriter’s credit for Jimmy Rivière in the same year. Rebecca Zlotowski also teaches in the cinema department and Lyon 2 University.
